Tracks on the first Arctica release on post global recordings 'Hanami in Tokyo' glows with elusive slowly developing static and field recordings simplicity. Its sound is balancing between meditative ambient and pure drone. The minimal drone brings serenity and calmness. Intentionally. The idea is to convey the atmosphere of spring in Japan, as well as Hanami the Japanese national tradition of admiring flowers. The author hopes to bring a peaceful feeling to the listener and to be able to imagine how he walks through the purple cherry blossoms on a spring day. The sound contained on this release is intended and specially designed to be listened on headphones.
